About Music
With three other members in January 2019, we formed the band Slip to promote critical thinking via popular music. We wish to break disciplinary boundaries with music.
I am the Keyboard player (including piano, electronic keyboard, MIDI and Melodica), supporting vocal and lyricist. While the bandleader Yunlong is a composer with conservatory of music training, the other two members Ling Tang and Alex are Sociologist/Artist from Oxford University.
We wrote the theme song Cyber-Nocturne for China Science and Technology Museum. The masterpiece "Isabella" has received more than 999+ hits on QQ Music's online platform.
In 2020, I published the historical novel "An Odyssey" with the theme song of the same name and received high hits.
In 2021, I published the musical fantasy novel "A Scroll of the Sea and the Sky" with five original songs and the album of the same name.

In short, it is a posthuman queer love story between a human singer and a cyborg singer. Through the song, we imagine a Harawayian gender utopia and wish to question the boundary between human and cyborg, organic and inorganic as well as eternity and temporality.

The spiritual life of immigrants in the modern city, a kind of drifting without a home, a dilemma between integration and non-integration.
